 Subaru Company is a division of Japanese company Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI). It was formed in 1953 on the basis of the Nakajima Aircraft Company Ltd. The first concept in the automotive industry, developed under this brand, has become a model named P-1. Serial manufacture of another model - Subaru 360, started a year later. At the same time new car brand was presented to the public. It took several decades to enter the European market. For example, in Germany, Subaru car appeared in 1980. At present, the company has strong positions in sales of both new and used motor vehicles on the world market.
