5KG Coir Pith Block

Our triple washed coir media is treated with a buffering process to adjust the cation ratio exchange (CEC), to replace undesirable sodium and magnesium with calcium and potassium using a process called buffering. This certified organic coir growing medium is the ideal potting mix for many plants and can be used by itself or mixed with other soil growing media like peat moss and perlite.

100% natural, sustainable, coconut fibers compressed into 10 lbs. coir blocks used used as a soil amendment to improve your soils physical and chemical properties. The compressed bales can be hydrated by adding water. It’s a beauty to watch the fluffing process which shows how coir absorbs and retains moisture for a longer period which is a major cost-saving factor for our customers.
